8/15/2023 0 Comments Shining force 3 trilogy patch![]() So how is it? Well, like the previous Game Gear titles, it’s a series of fantasy strategy battles set to a plot in the Shining Force universe. Until 2005, however, this final chapter was Japanese-only. The second game came out in English as Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya, and the first two actually had English releases as a Sega CD remake called Shining Force CD. I really want to play this and just hopes that this game gets a remake.Shining Force Gaiden: The Final Conflict is the third in the Game Gear’s Shining Force Gaiden series, and (I assume) the stunning conclusion to the trilogy. it was scenario 2, and ive been tryingto play this game ever since. If you are interested in my story, Ive played this game 19 years ago! when my uncle bought a sega and any games he could find, (he said that this SF3 was expensive for some reason) it was in japanese and we dont know crap about it, but me and my bro played it and got addicted to it anyway even without understanding a single line. ive tried the yabause from ehre before but same thing it keeps on crashing Im also trying the Yaba sanshiro on my Note 9 cp. I tried Yabause and boy does it look smoother, but then it Crashes right on the very first fight, right after a masked monk attacks my unit after that it crashes. So ive been downloading different bios and all but i cant seem to fix it. So now I am trying to play again but noticed that on my downloaded SSF 14, I cant save from the church, and im sure even if i finish the game if i cant save from my "cartridge" it may not follow up on the 2nd scenario. Hey guys, I've been trying to play this god damn best game and for some damn reason I cant finish it,īefore I was playing smoothly on SSF, but my PC broke down. Making that change seems to have fixed that. I did that because there were some minor graphical anomalies on the landscape, during the initial "flyover" to start Scenario 1 and 2. On a side note, I don't remember what the exact name of the graphical option was, but I changed it from "Triangle-somethingorother" to "GPU Tessellation". I also plan to avoid using Save States, as that still seems to cause problems. I also moved the SF3Patch folder to directly under C: before patching, since last time it named the files after the emulator folder it was buried in.Ģ) Turned off both Frame Skip and multi-threading (neither of which worked last time). This also means (I believe), that Paul Met's View Mod was not included. Instead of mounting the disc with Daemon Tools, I just loaded the ISO in Yaba Sanshiro. Below are the things that I changed:ġ) I used ISOMAKER2 instead of the patcher exe to make the disc. But, since I tried a bunch of things, it's kind of hard to narrow down what the problem was. Update: I tried a lot of different things all at once, and I was able to get through the first battle of Scenario 2 twice in a row with no freezing. Have you had more freezes since your last post? ![]() Is that what you're seeing? I turned off Frame-Skipping, and tried turning off pretty much everything imaginable, and it hasn't made a difference. I'm getting constant freezing immediately after returning from an attack screen. Just to make sure, before starting scenario 1, I fired up scenario two and started the first battle.
